Junqueira (Póvoa de Varzim) : ウィキペディア英語版
Rua da Junqueira

Rua da Junqueira, mostly known simply as Junqueira, is a traditional shopping street of the city of Póvoa de Varzim in Portugal. The street, located in Póvoa de Varzim City Center, it is the main and the oldest shopping street of the city, with several boutiques, some opened for over 100 years, and small shopping centers. It is a landmark for the city and neighboring areas and one of the earliest pedestrianized streets in Portugal, serving as an example to other cities that later did similar developments.〔(Um dia de festa na Rua da Junqueira ) - Póvoa Semanário〕
Junqueira also refers, from time immemorial, to the area surrounding this street, and in early times was a fishermen district.
